Volunteering

As always, elections will be held for the Board of Directors. Positions are 2-year terms. The Vice President and Treasurer are both up for election this year. As our bylaws currently stand, at least one Director-at-Large position is also available. However, with an expected adoption of our new proposed bylaws, the following new positions may require filling:

Membership Director
Communications Director
Facilities Director.

A list of the responsibilities of each of our board positions can be found in a copy of our proposed bylaws (download). The Board typically meets once a month…both working hard and having fun in order to help our community grow in many ways.

Park Development Committee

Lewis Estate Community League is currently recruiting for members to work on Social and Play Park enhancements committee. Experience working in a team environment is required as well as a wish to improve ones local community.
