Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL)

They assist and represent a Federation of 148 separate and independent Community Leagues of which LECL is one. Each League embodies the spirit of 'community' where neighbors are encouraged to get to know each other, share in social and recreational activities, and work to the betterment of the community at large by:

• facilitating healthy and safe communities through affordable recreation, sports and social activities,
• developing, encouraging, and celebrating League Volunteers,
• advocating on issues that affect communities, providing a central location for meetings, recreational programs, and social events.
